Auburn, CA, January 29, 2010 – ClipperCreek, Inc. the leader in Plug-In Vehicle Infrastructure announced today at the Washington Auto Show that its TS and CS product lines have been CE Certified and are ready for introduction into the European Union in 2010.
“We have always been at the forefront of the industry and first in safety certifications and we feel this is an important next step.” Said ClipperCreek CEO, Jason France. “We still have the only UL Listed unit in the industry.” UL is a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL), and a Listing by one is required by the National Electric Code before EVSE products can be installed. For EVSE’s, UL is often the preferred NRTL by building departments nationwide.
The company has begun shipping its TS-70 product to Europe with Tesla for use with the Tesla Roadster and plans to introduce its CS model for public infrastructure in the coming months.
