Supporters of Stand Up Placer gathered at Maidu Park in Roseville, CA for the 7th annual fundraising run/walk event on September 30, 2017, kicking off October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Placer County. The 1, 5, and 10K run/walk supports Stand Up Placer and their services for domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking survivors.
A group of ClipperCreek employees and their family members participated in the event to show their support. They ran for a cause, not the limelight, but a few ClipperCreek employees placed in the 5K & 10K runs. Way to go Mark, Marina, Ben, and Joel!
The Stand Up Placer run/walk was a fun event on a beautiful Saturday morning, but we all understand the grim reality of why we need such joined efforts. “Human trafficking, domestic abuse, and sexual assault are serious issues that responsible and caring citizens need to stand up and fight against. ClipperCreek is committed to supporting Stand Up Placer and similar organizations. ClipperCreek, Inc. is a Placer County corporation so it is important that we support our local community. Stand Up Placer has proven to be an invaluable resource for many who are in need of these types of services and we are grateful to have them serving in our community,” says Jason France, President & Founder of ClipperCreek, Inc.
